Just leaving VFL. Dids, Mooney, Ball, Faz, Williams all look ready to step up.

Really, Fas was ordinary IMO, Ball, Mooney, Gault and Dids were good, Williams worked hard but was untidy.

I know match ups are important, but it would be great to go in with a "settled" side with nil changes seeing as how it is one of the first times we have got through a game unscathed.

Witts still has a long way to go but a couple of consecutive games at senior level wouldn't do him any harm. Still if we were going to drop anyone my vote would go with him in exchange for some pace around the forward line. I wouldn't dare say the S word round here, so I'll put in a good word for mooney.

Actually now I'm aware there's a by for the vfl next week...surely ball has to be considered. Unless he has any residual soreness in his hammy, I don't see the point in him having a week off. He'd be better off with the vest and a few more miles in him wouldn't he?

Out: witts , J Thomas.
In : Ball, Mooney (upgrade?)

Get the feeling Ball will be back in part due to the VFL having a bye next week.

Play him as sub and ease him back in in readiness for the following week against the cats.

Martin didn't play today with a possible hamstring injury the cause.

Disappointing as he'd be real close to being elevated.

5 goals from Mooney on his return from injury however is most exciting.

The freak could be anything with his lightning speed and athletic ability once he's done learning the game.

May yet earn himself a rookie upgrade during the week and be a surprise inclusion.

If Frost has suffered a serious knee injury then I suspect it's almost a certainty with Martin also in line because of the Toovey injury.
