His disposal is certainly improving and was good last night. He also runs hard and plays tough. - he also showed some natural defensive ability and poise when under the pump last night and previously.

I prefer him to Clarke and I would say Williams and Seedsman along with Elliot are probably the guys who have forced their way into our team - or are looking most likely to replace Daisy, Faz and Tooves.

I would hope that Keefe can also come in and take Lynch's spot when he is fully fit.

Sorry mate, not seeing that one at all. Someone else mentioned Scott Burns when he started out as a back pocket and that's a bit better comparison.

Bright future. Loves a contest & takes on the opposition. Disposal is improving all the time. Note the lovely pass to Martin in the last quarter for a goal.

+1

Head down and runs in straight lines, tough and strong in the clinches. Has pace and good disposal - he is a beauty.

A little to short to have the versatility of Tooves but Seedsman could be the man for that job.

If Seedsman continues his rate of improvement, playing him down back would be a massive waste of his talents.

Not sure where he fits in the FWD line so that leaves the midfield but I doubt he has the tank yet.

Losing Toovey will have an upside by 2014. By then Seedsman will have developed a defensive mindset which will make him a fantastic, pacy, attacking back flanker or wingman. Throw in Tooves and Young and you have some real pace and class running forward.

Wondering: presuming Keefe has some match fitness by say round 17-18, could he release Reid to the forward line? I'm not sure that Reid can develop into a KPF, but Keefe is definitely a KPB and having Cloke, Reid and Lynch up forward would worry the heck out of most backlines.

^was thinking that last night watching the game, but my enthusiasm was tempered by the woeful Brisbane backline. Also th fact that they only really played one key forward, chopper is also important down back with his field kicking skill

Perhaps it was the lack of pressure and poor opposition tonight and having that little bit of extra time but I did not see him miss a target tonight.

Lot to like about this kid on the football field and may be the hard nut, close checking, hard tackling, hard running, negating, small back pocket man we've been craving.

Given his vfl form was solid but not outstanding he has done an amazing job to step up. I thought last nights game was where he left off last year, A credit to him!!
