Maxwell, Beams, Freeman & Broomhead missing from last weeks.

Nice to see Fasolo, Goldsack, Reid, Brown, Mooney, Swan & Hudson named and a chance to make the final 26.

Can't believe we're letting our boys play in Wang, I used to work as a groundsman for the show grounds and city oval, trust me when I say the groundsmen (same groundsmen for both grounds) have zero idea, the entire centre square is made up of merry creek soil (on both grounds) it'll be either hard as nails or like glue, pop up sprinkler holes everywhere, not AFL standard.

Essendon and St Kilda played there last year, hardly earth shattering stuff.

Did the thought ever cross your mind than since you were employed there, that conditions/facilities may have improved?

Im guessing no matter how bad it is its still ten times better than Etihad or ANZ Stadium!

I think we need to put this game into perspective. It's a practice match Maxy Beamer brroomhead rested from last game.
Things we need to accomplish.
Swanny must have no less than 70 touchs and then be subbed out at half time
Cloke must kick a minimum of 23/2 or be delisted immediately
Pendles must win the toss then sucker punch a umpire leaving the centre area
Bucks must coach from the sideline in full playing attire and whenever possible slip onto the ground for a few touches
Eddie must sit with the magpie faithful and buy everyone 4 beers and a pie (a extra pie for Bertha and hiss)
Anything less than the above and our season will be over before it commences

Go the pies

3 players still have to be omitted from the 29 man squad so it might be reasonable to include Williams among them.

OK, neck right out here waiting for the inevitable chop. I reckon as a show of long term support, Collingwood should play Marley on Saturday night. We cannot pre-judge the sentence to mean that he can't play footy....... Rolling Eyes

Would depend upon his state of mind Laz. Happy for him to play if he's ok.

Fair point Daz but I do not agree with those asking him to be immediately dropped, sacked, executed, pissed off etc.... Rolling Eyes
If he can play, play him as a gesture of support.
And let those in glass houses continue to undress....... Exclamation

I think we need to try a CRAB Cup game with Witts leading the ruck division (no Grundy/Hudson) and White/Lynch in support. If Grundy gets injured we need to see what plan B is.
