If you read correctly I stated that the umpiring was not the reason for the loss. We were pathetic but when I see Ryder take a mark with clear hands in the back and is allowed and White gets pinged that's what pisses me off. This happens week after week.

49 inside 50s for 5 goals.
I know we are weakened by injury at the moment but the druggies were missing 3 of their best. By 3/4 time we had beaten them in clearances, smashed them in centre clearances and matched them in contested ball. Yet somehow, we'd managed to have already lose the game.

Pathetic effort,and people thought the performance against Gold Coast was the worst they had ever seen.We're getting worse by the week now.
The players skill level is atrocious,and now they're playing wih no heart or desperation as well.The senior players have become complacent and don't really care anymore,the young players aren't good enough,the recruits from other clubs are complete duds,and the coach doesn't know how to coach.
But apart from that everything is going fine at the club! |

I feel we need to lose so we can regroup and rebuild. I am ok with this loss. We shouldn't be too negative. After all our rightful place under this current administration is permanently outside the eight with sides like Footscray and Melbourne. I warned of this plight and was abused on this site by many who condemn you for criticising the Club culture. We are actually going backwards. Team has no spirit. Get us a new Board with the ability to get it right on the field. Not the same old stale anger that is delivering us nothing. I love out great Board but if they can't deliver, then time to let others have a go.

The lack of desperation, and determination, was very, very disappointing from our boys. Dunno why, but their mindset was bad, real bad, the lack of effort, even in a bad loss, was not there, no effort really. I suggest at least five changes post bye, at least we have a week off to reassess and reload again after that shocker. Both blair and swan must be rested, swan is definitely injured, hes too good a player to play llike this. Our ins must be at least Elliott, Reid, Martin, Karnezis, our forward line needs a big revamp now. Keefe should never have been dropped, Maxy was way too short for the guy he was on, our coaching staff need a big kick over that debacle at the selection table. Hopefully, we can freshen up the team with five changes or so, reload, and come out with a whole new attitude against the crows, post bye, nothing else we can do actually, other than that. sigh.
