talia went down which crippled them over the park. they had to move jpod to defence which robbed them of attacking power.

Certainly didn't help their cause but the Weagles had moved to the ascendency after the initial 4 goals by the Crows, probably should have been a couple of goals up at quarter time.

wce have put away the lower ranked teams but really struggled against teams around their ladder position or above.

I'd like to see Ball & Kennedy in the extended list.
If Toovey is ok, Williams can have a spell - stunk it up for most games since returning.
As much as Keeffe sh!ts me, he is required against WCE tall forwards.
Keep getting games into Martin, Armstrong & Broomhead.

Will be tough to hold Kennedy, NicNat, Le-Cras, McGovern, Darling... Cripps etc... I hope Toooves is ready to give Darling his usual bath.

Midfield is the key, which looks more even now, which was an area we dominated in the past...

Bucks in his post match presser said Tooves is going to be a chance for next week. Would be just what Tooves needs, getting yet another one over Darling might play him into some good form.

I'd like to reward Kennedy for his BOG in the VFL by bringing him back for the whole game, not as a sub. While Toovey may be available, I'd prefer to stick with the kids for one more week and look at bringing Toovey back the following week.

I don't think it will happen, but I'd also be inclined to give Witts a couple of weeks back in the VFL to work on his marking and bring back Grundy for at least a couple of weeks. If we do make the finals, we'll need to have both Witts and Grundy AFL ready.

Ins: Grundy, Kennedy

Outs: Witts, Martin.

We'll I've done my ladder predictor and based on how I think things will go this is a must win. In fact we really need to win the next three. Dropping one against the hawks and we should sneak into the 8 for a finals game against guess who...... Port Adelaide. Only win 2 of the next four and I have us finishing 10th. Sad

It's a big ask, 3 from 4. But if they can just get over the toasters they're in with a shot.

If Toovey is available - Toovey will play: Darling is his bitch!
Kennedy to come in for Adams
Martin to sub again - worked last week, should work again.
Will MacCaffer play? Rolled his ankle didn't he?

agree with brining kenno in. grundy in would be a surprise and highly improbable. i liked witts' tap work. looks like huddo is making a difference.

What is this talk of Kennedy in for Adams? It has to be either Ball or Thomas. Kennedy can not play as our main extractor at this stage. Kennedy should come in for Martin, offers far more.

in Ball, Kennedy, Toovey
out: Adams (inj), Martin, Williams

i think it is more about wanting kennedy to get a game rather than going like for like.

Definitely should get a game, but with Adams out, Ball or Thomas also must play.

Martin wasn't given any favours by Buckley by being made the sub.

He looked the week before very much a player still trying to find the confidence in himself to believe he belongs at AFL level and it was no surprise he failed to have any impact at all in his 20% game time.

To be honest watching the game on my computer the ball hardly seemed to be in his vicinity in the final quarter which was bizarre in itself.

I'd rather he be given another full game to see what he offers but that would seem unlikely.

So with that in mind.

Out:Adams (inj), Witts, Martin

In:Ball, Grundy, Kennedy

Young and Toovey in the mix as well.

I have Martin out not based on performance. Though if he'd taken his chance like Armstrong did there'd be an argument to keep him in. We just don't need another of his type, Kennedy is a far better option. Even with Martin playing at his best I don't see how he improves our team.

I would bring Grundy in, more athletic against Nic Nat, especially at ground level. Looking forward to being amongst the Collingwood army on Sunday, hoping for a big win!!
