| Without doubt we were awful today and for the first time I'll say that my support for Buckley as head coach is off the table. Today's performance was one from a team that looked like they met each other for the first time on the team bus. Nothing has changed in terms of our most significant deficiency .. disposal .. it's either too slow, too high, too low, too wide .. until that is rectified, and there are no indications it will under Buckley, we will remain a rabble. |

Mate, Buckley is on a free ride as long as McGuire is there..............that's why he's so relaxed in the press conferences; knows he's OK no matter what F S his side puts out. |

Subsequent to my last post ...
There is one thing I will not take and that is cheating from those officiating the game of AFL. Every week umpires are looking for frees against us while letting the opposition get away with same. Today's exhibition, resulting in a free kick count of 10-27 was out and out cheating to say the least. Numerous frees were not given to us yet easily picked out for the opposition. I will not stand for the AFL not calling this for what it is.
If the Pies don't make an issue of this my 2015 membership is not there. This is not a case of sour grapes .. it is a case of being shafted week in week out and the club must stand up for its supporters.
Having a rabble for a football team is one thing but not being given an even chance in the contest is another. |

Yep, we didn't get the rub of the green re umpiring, but that's largely because we were second to the ball most of the day. That in turn was because they were killing us in the clearances, and when we got it we looked lost, and gave it back too easily. The coach has until the end of next year to turn it around, or we have to turn him around. And that's about where our footy club is at.
