Wow, so we might now struggle to kick 4 goals today. Great.

This could be one of the lowest crowds Collingwood has played in front of for a long time.

Last time we played at the Sydney Showgrounds in 2012 the crowd was 8102.

In 2014 GWS has had a few games in the 7,000 - 8,000 range:

Round 1 vs Sydney - 17,102
Round 3 vs Melbourne - 7,016
Round 10 vs Richmond - 8,331
Round 12 vs Essendon - 8,429
Round 14 vs Carlton - 9,059
Round 16 vs Adelaide - 8,383
Round 18 vs Geelong - 7,697

Add to that both teams have nothing to play for.

Hope we give it a red hot go today. Think we're a chance to snag this one. Still a lot to play for. Should be a very even contest. Pies in a close one.... here's hoping anyway.

Obviously I hope the Pies win (unless its mathematically possible for us to get Moore with a 2nd rounder), but GWS by 27 pts.

Well given that all 3 emergencies played in the VFL last night if there is then the tank is certainly on if it isn't already.

Since when do sides playing interstate not take a traveling emergency?

Never heard the likes of it.

we can win this, we have copped a lot of crap over the past week, from the media, and I think the boys will hit back hard, hopefully. Pies in a close one for mine.!

You're a fool, considering our outs and our away from home record we lose this by plenty, I even tipped GWS, imagine that?

bugger me, im a fool for hoping for a PIes win am I, yes we have big outs, but we have copped heaps and I just think we may hopefully hit back hard and find something, but I guess that gets lost on your constant bleak outlook doesn't it. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

We're all "hoping" for a win mate, get a grip please.

Fair enough, but theres no need for calling someone a fool cos he hopes the PIes win, nothing wrong with hope one would think. Idea

FWIW I HOPE its Woods by 5 points or thereabouts. Razz Razz

I don't think Great waste of Space go that well in the wet either, will be a low score either way. Confused

For the person who said that both teams have little to play for - here's a thought - PRIDE. Pride in the jumper.

Come on Pies, show you're not down and out. Play for each other and the jumper.

Win.

And if anyone boos Heath Shaw I will personally kick their arse.

Good post, well said, I hope Heath does well, and the Pies win a close game, win win all round. Very Happy
