NO, Johnnie, when they seek to denigrate a touching moment or great and gutsy win, they get what they deserve, in spades. Its a positive thread, they try to turn it sour, not us. Exclamation

just don't respond to them. why dignify their dickheadness with a response? you only add fuel to what is becoming a very tiring, boring and predictable war of words.

You have a fundamental lack of understanding of how emotion can drive performance to unexpected levels and achievment.

You lack empathy on so many levels as reinforced by your posts.

But when you finish high school you should grow out of it.

Fair enough Johnnie, the Collingwood Civil War has reared its head again, but I shall try to restrain myself. Wink

Love it. Your response to a win is to quickly refer back to the last loss.

You are relentless, I'll give you that.

I agree - Where was it last week where we never looked like getting back into the game but this week they Fought out the game and got over the line.

What is the Difference?

Lions are not way better then the GWS

Its good to see a "Do it for Brent" sort of attitude and that helped to get them over line this week no doubt. That won't happen again though and if it takes that to motivate them to go to a level that wins games, there is something wrong with the motivational skills of our coach and his assistants.

You sure you aren't a club plant JW?

Never have you posted or started more threads than over the last few weeks.

Never.

Has Ed given you the tap on the shoulder?

LOL.

P.S-As for your thread no one is questioning the talent or character of our list, it's top 8 material everyday of the week now and with a bit of luck top 4 by 2016.

People are rightly though still questioning whether the coach is the right man to get the best out of that group of players going forward.

A win over GWS doesn't remove that doubt with only our results next year proving his worth one way or another.

Hopefully Bucks proves his ability overwhelmingly.

I had the same thought as that when I hear about Caff. That we had no one ACL Last week but Caff goes down with it and it get’s them to Lift and Motivate them.

Just hope they can learn from this and we can get Motivated like we did Last Night

Watching buckleys after match press conference, I sensed that he to wondered why that determination and endeavour wasn't displayed in previous months

I cried with big Nick, those brissy punts didn't have to try and smash his shoulder, that's just dirty, and not in the spirit of the game.

And I cried for Brent last night

Tears are not something yo be ashamed of, real men know that

Proud, just proud, that's my team

And you, president of the "perceptive fellow" brigade, lead you morbid mob like lemmings, over a cliff face. Rolling Eyes

Answer the question.

It's very simple, Defender.

Last week was a shocker, and I guess the boys were ashamed and deeply embarrassed. They have been very down of late.

Last night, after the first quarter, they decided against all odds and bereft of confidence, to dig deep and fight out a win, with three comrades off.

They showed pride in the jumper, and got back their sense of comradery which they had clearly lost the week before.

We can't ask for more than that, and hope to see it continue next week.

It's called "life" for normal mortal human beings. You should try it sometime.

"A shocker, ashamed and deeply embarrassed" you say, is that why they came out looking like turtles in the first half?

Do we need a serious injury to actually have a dip?

Agree, don't give a hoot if a poster is pessimistic or optimistic in their outlook, only ask that they at least try occasionally to contribute constructively to the discussion, can't be too hard....
