Didn't read it properly! "White did sprint work with trainer. Did agility running too. Minor injury Id suggest. Wont be out for long...."

No worries. Smile

We are very lucky to have you Neil! great work again

The injury to Keeffe seemes to be another collingwood 2 to 3 week hammy.. He may be out for awhile.

Do you think White will be ok for round 1 Neil? And how did Freeman train?

I could be wrong Dave, but the word after we drafted Goodyear was that he was a speedy mid who could find the ball, but that his kicking was not a strong point. Compared to Maynard and deGoey, that appears to be the case.

Sounds awfully like another mid we drafted from Calder with a later pick. He seemed to turn out ok Wink

Thanks, Neil. Great report.

Just curious: Were there any witches hats on the paddock at any time?

Awesome stuff Neil. I've been looking forward to seeing Broomy step it up this year but he was pretty quiet in Tassie. You mentioned pre Christmas that he was training well & doing great at stoppages. Not the case now?

Thanks for the report.

Beats anything the club website or the general media put out re training (and there the people are getting paid to inform us punters! - and you do it for free)

Outstanding, wide-ranging training reports delivered with insight, fidelity and generosity. True Collingwood spirit.

Thanks Stuart.

Your assignment next week should you choose to accept it is to pay special attention to the training performance of Maynard.

OK next week I'll take note of the following:
Mouthguard wearers
Broomhead
Abbott
Maynard
and anybody else people would like in the spotlight.

We noted that Marley Williams has been used as a midfield tagger of late. Now I didn't mention that before I don't think, but it is quite significant.

He's doing well Woftam. We were discussing things in the car on the way home this morning and we decided that Broomhead has spent the majority of the last 3-4 weeks training as a midfielder. I hope he gets some game time there because he is very creative.
