I'm hearing he has to have it removed.

You can still play without an ankle cant you?
I hear they fuse the foot straight to the leg bones.

The ankle was stuffed when he first did it but to make sure he completely stuffed it properly they played him out for the rest of the game. But like Luke ball with his knee.

I heard they operated on him this morning and amputated his foot at the waist.

Adams under an injury cloud too according to Bucks on AFL 360. Just great!
In the space of three weeks if he and Pendles don't play we have basically lost our whole midfield besides Swan. No wonder we are selecting so many flankers.

Sidebottom
Greenwood
Thomas
Kennedy (glandular fever?)
Pendlebury
Adams

Hmmm. How the hell can any team win if only one midfielder is able to be selected?

They identified that Taylor had a problem because his kicking was less accurate than usual. Wink

That is catastrophic.

The thing is, we will probably trade out our first rounder, potentially for Aish. So tanking is not on the cards which makes these injuries all the more unnecessary. I would love to give the Lions, pick 12, and that's all your getting for Aish, so Aish could be reunited with Schaz, Grundy and the rest of the South Aussie boys.

The Age has just posted he is definitely out this week, now I am concerned, no Pendles, no Sidey, we are in trouble I think. Injuries will kill our season before it barely starts. sigh.

Yep mate, and I thought with that Buffitant gone to the Scum, and this new whiz kid Davoren appointed as fitness guru etc, that it would all be different this season, yet we seem to be going down the same old well trodden path, long term tissue injuries, dodgy ankles etc.

I would assume this Davoren guy is on around $400K per year, is it not time he earnt his coin ?? Confused Surprised

Crows player landed on Pendles ankle in a marking contest, hardly a fitness or conditioning issue.

fail. why then hasn't this davoren fella not found a way to ensure pendles ankle is injury proof?
