Crap post. Get rid of Witts and we become a one ruckman club? Not the smartest idea. |

Atm he could use this game as a heads up as to whats required in AFL seniors. Ill give him more time but hes had enough time already.
Marking is bread and butter stuff for ruckmen and he didn't step up to the plate last night, actually he didn't even need to do anything extraordinary just mark the thing in front of his eyes uncontested in the goal square!!!
Im guessing he doesn't believe in himself enough to take the game on by the scruff of its neck.
He needs more game time but how much?
Cloke, Witts and White all killed our momentum at some stages last night and it was gut wrenching to watch, especially when it was only simple marks and simple goals that they fluffed up. Simple stuff simple simple simple stuff.
Who is the psychologist down at the club because it has to be between the ears ?
No one should be saying its a young side etc etc . Cloke Witts and White have been around long enough. _________________ Carpe diem quam minimum credula postero. |

I think we need to play white as a genuine ruckman, 50% ruck time with Reg, least he can cover the ground. _________________ Defender...........

We all saw the dropped mark in the backline near Geelong's goal at the Ponsford end of the G. Why where two Geelong players effectively on their own able to gather the ball to result in a Geelong goal? _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Bingo- also White has shown a bit when thrown in amongst it- and it keeps him away from kicking at goal! |

I thought Witts gave the team a bit in the first Qrt when all was going to hell. He is a young ruckman who was playing his first senior game for the year so all in all I think he is doing OK. I think that Buckley got it right in starting Witts in the Forward Pocket and Grundy in the ruck. (Pity Bucks started Frost on Hawkins instead of Nathan Brown!!) Grundy's agression and ground level work makes him a better ruckman than Witts at the moment and I don't think Grundy is going to be a weapon in the forward line. For these two young ruckmen to take the team forward, which I think they can, i believe Witts has to start to use his size to take marks and kick goals to be a danger playing in the forward line. That way we have the structure in the team to rest Crundy and enable the two of these young playeers to develop to their optimum output over the nect four years.

Yeah let's bag Witts after 1 game......
We needs Witts otherwise we will burn Grundy into the ground very quickly. White and Gault are not up to giving Grundy a decent chop out.
We have to learn to play with both Witts and Grundy in the team. It will work out in the long run. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

A hard night out for the big bloke, he'll improve. I wish someone went over and smacked that toe rag motlop after he pushes wits. _________________ " Ohhh Banksy and out comes the Note Book".

We need to persevere with Witts. He's part of our future and whether Grundy realises it or not, he'll help Grundy's game, once they get used to playing together. |

Whole team was ordinary in the first q-under huge pressure- confidence shaken
Yep- he stuffed up but he needs time to adjust- did some bloody nice things and will be a force- he is still only 22- just a baby.
Get games into him.
Realistically we are not a contender this year.
Pump games into the young guys to have a crack in 2016/17.

Right on, he wasn't our worst by a long shot, I was more angry with Shank kick Cloke, and his constant shit kicking for goal. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

I thought he played well, really showed some stuff. Yeah, the missed mark wasn't great but he didn't do a lot else wrong. Looked pumped in the first quarter, pity a few of his teammates weren't any where near as intense. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

His lack of an appetite for a physical contest is not compatible with this idea. _________________ "I am a great sage, equal of heaven.
