Good goal - not the best I have seen this year though… probably not even the best from Eddie Betts this year!

Daisy was in incredible form in 2011 - followed up from his sensational 2010 finals series he really had some great games in 2011 - but there were many in that midfield that were in great form.

When watching Daisy butcher a shot from 40m out against the Swans on Friday night I just thought how far he has dropped off… it seems to be a technique issue when he is rushing his kicks - he looks anxious and off balance- but hey that's their problem to deal with… but wow - what a decline!

Edie or Daisy - I know which one I would prefer playing at the Pies…

Fasolo's goal in the third was a real cracker too.
It's one thing to take a wild swing from well out but a Collingwood player taking a set shot from 40 out on boundary with a slippery ball was sublime.

...the gravy was the goal review over-ruling both umps "touched" call!
I thought I'd entered the Twilight zone! Shocked

makes you think how much we've been cheated against before technology came into play. The goal call was a pretty easy one to make from a senior goal umpire. He, like #17 would've been devastated to hand that to us after review.
