Don't discount Blair's chances. He has to be a short favourite. Cool

Young has the hardness and a record of standing up in big moments. I know that 3rds reckons he's a big chance. Cool

Adams. A natural born leader.

Be interesting to watch the emergence of our future leaders over the next few seasons. We've gone from a position of scarcity to a situation where we now have multiple options developing. Very encouraging.

Jamie Elliott. We need someone with a bit of flair to lead the way.

While I agree with others that Scharenberg is the logical choice, in 3-4 years I think Moore and De Goey will be our leaders.

Not sure if serious. Confused

Short term I like Adams. marley as 2IC

Moore just exudes leadership and will be a leader whether captain or not, but won't be captain for a few years at least. Berg, NFI.

DeGoey is it for mine
Speaks like a captain
Acts like a captain
Will be in the best 2/3 players in the club in 4/5yrs
I chose him over Moore as he will be a midfielder and can get to all parts of the ground to encourage team mates.
Moore will be 2IC for sure oozes class and has shown already he's got a great head on his shoulders
A smokey for the group is Jono Marsh just has that look about him. Looks like he's the type to say follow me boys I'll run through the wall just follow me

Could be an inspired choice. The other clubs wouldn't be expecting it which would give us the element of surprise.

What this thread really needed was a poll.

I like the suggestions of De Goey and Adams. Frost and Langdon, too (why do people never think of defenders?). Scharenberg is a pretty big call given that he's played, like, 2 AFL games and barely featured in either.
