If we obtain Aish through a trade don't be surprised to see him heading to Brisbane or maybe we could use him to somehow snag Trent McKenzie who's been rumoured to leave the Suns.

Would love Trent McKenzie on the other wing to Varcoe, The Cannon bombing 50M lace out passes into the forward line sounds appealing, but Suns would make us bleed through the arse for him.

Oxley (& picks) for Aish and McKenzie for Seedsman? throw in Treloar for picks.

Be still my beating heart. Very Happy

Whoa settle grettle, Oxley and a pick at the absolute most.

But which way is he likely to go?

The Tip is he will ask to be Traded to the Lions

I'd be disappointed to lose him but it is what it is. Guess we'll know either way next week.

Oxley's a decent prospect, but I think we all know that there are too many half back flankers on our squad. Oxley has some distinguishing elements to his game, but overall these are players (Seedsman included) that we could do with consolidating into a player or players that fill a need and will be best 22. Because as it stands we're going to have 4 or 5 pretty good half back players that will struggle to get a regular game, Oxley and Seedsman included.

I tend to disagree we have too many HBFer types. I think the perception is skewed because we have a few like Scharenberg, Langdon, Oxley, Williams, Maynard, and Goodyear who appear likely to spend time at HBF but ultimately appear more versatile and could transition into the midfield or forward.

If it helps to secure Aish next week, then let him go.
If they aren't locks for the starting 22 in 2016, then let them go...

Is Oxley and a second round pick a fair trade for Aish do you think?

Surely there is enough options floating around with Kennedy, Seedsman and Freeman likely departing to need to add an Oxley to the mix. Keep him as he is a unique P.O.D player in our squad whose about to surge after an interrupted run.

Oxley is from Brisbane so he would have extra value for the Lions. They're struggling to hold onto players and getting as many local boys as possible must be a priority. The fact that he's still out of contract would suggest it's something we're considering.

Because bombing into the 50 is a tactic that's worked before with this group.
