Lovely snippets.

We all need to pause & reflect on the fact that Treloar has had a significanntly interrupted pre-season. To that extent we might need to give him & our expectations some leeway this year.

could've cost us a win, you know. Wink

I only saw one quarter of him but he was very much off the pace in terms of fitness (as you would expect) and it was noticeable that he couldnt do any type of link player work and generally could only get to a contest if there was a stoppage. We need to be patient and I would be surprised if he played against the Bulldogs.

I would be very surprised if he didn't line up against the Bulldogs. He's ready to play. The Werribee players were scragging him. That won't happen in AFL footy when there are other skilful players around the ball. I assure you you will be wetting yourself when you see himself against the Bulldogs. We owe them a thing or two for their performances against us the last two seasons.

This kid is a genuine A grade star. However, let's remember he's had a terribly interrupted pre-season with hip/groin surgery. I'm sure he'll play at least half a game this week and hopefully he'll start in round 1. But realistically he'll need 6 weeks or so really gain full fitness. Hopefully by the middle of the season he'll be flying, but let's not expect miracles from him from day one.

I swear he moves exactly like Chris Judd. I thought that when I watched his highlights against Carlton last year too. Arches the back and has great acceleration in the first few steps which gives him space. If he winds up as good as Juddy i'd be reasonably happy.

I reckon he'd be an 80% chance for round 1. He played unfit/hampered by injury for most of 2015 and still finished 2nd in GWS B&F behind Heater. Even if it's as a burst player off the bench, I think he'll be irresistible to include. This guy lives, breathes and eats footy
.... a bit like his coach did and still does.
A solid hit out for 1/2 a game against the Dogs and he's a shoe in for round 1.

He came second in the GWS b&f last year and carried a groin injury most of the year.
Pretty much says it all
