As for the bits I did read:
- You're blaming Buckley and his staff for a guy doing an ACL?? Really??
- No point playing players because you reckon they can kick straight (Cox and Gault), if they can't get a kick in the first place.

Tbh I would never ever ever drop Frost. He's the best negater in our backline and can stop anyone in the league if he has the mission.
Howe has to play.
Funny [or not] how a month ago we were all thinking @#@#$ how deep is our team! Who is going to get left out!!?? Nek Minnut

Happy with the Macaffer and Gault omissions.
Frost was neither here nor there for me but I had him in my outs earlier in the week so I wasn't surprised it played out that way.
The Goldsack inclusion is the one I really query.
Has had a very limited preseason due to his knee issue and by all reports hasn't excelled in the VFL practice matches.
It doesn't seem a strong form line to me and for mine Marsh or Toovey would have been more deserving.
The Goodyear selection feels a little rushed also but good luck to the kid in his first game.

^ agree with this. Feel for Marsh, but he has no doubt been told to improve his kicking before he will even be considered.
Would also have liked to have heard glowing reports about Howe and Goldy prior to this week, but we're short on experienced and hardened bodies, whilst Goodyear seems a plug until Sidey and Varcoe return.
