It's easy to make statements about players having knees drained after games, coach having lost the players, etc etc and produce no evidence.
Also easy to claim having conversations with ex players.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but if you're going to state it as a fact, provide evidence or it's just an opinion.
As far as the description, if you're willing to own what i consider a totally juvenile label, wear the opinion of others.

Gee I posted 2 weeks ago about a conversation I had with Travs dad.
Didn't get called a troll then.
So according to your opinion I should have taped the conversation and then uploaded it to Nicks.
What a friggin joke.
And as for owning the label.
Another friggin joke from one of the Clubs apologists.
Keep backing the coach because we are only a year or so away from the wooden spoon.
It is such a joke how the club apologists are so friggin scared of a little criticism.

You didn't called a troll because you named Cloke's Dad, sitting next to him at the VFL was entirely likely and you didn't report anything controversial from the conversation.
Reporting conversations with anonymous ex players who will bag the club to some random, but remain silent in public is different.

^^^ Correct. Also, thompsoc has been posting (mostly) sensibly (more sensibly than me, anyway) for a long time, whereas the newbie has gone from zero to 100 km/hr posting at - dare I say it, Stui? - Lamborghini speed, with reckless disregard for anyone else's views/opinions/knowledge. That is always cause for more than a little suspicion.
(Also, it became entirely uncontroversial when Clokey said quite a few of the same things to the media mid-week.) |

I suppose I really don't like any conspiracy theories.
I take people on face value.
I still don't believe he is a troll.
But there has been no Newbie ever on Nicks who has ever started like this.

Great? IMO he played a better last quarter than he did for the other 3/4'rs but I think you might be in danger of "gilding the lily" a bit to consider it great.

Thompsoc, you've been posting here for a long time and your conversation with Cloke senior rang true. I don't always agree with your opinions but i accept that they are based on some footy knowledge and a genuine love of the Pies.
I don't think there is any comparison between that Cloke discussion you reported, and this purported conversation with Luke Ball, which involves someone as clever and restrained as Luke Ball saying some very damaging and destructive things about collingwood and Nathan
Buckley to someone who is likely to publish it all on a football chat board.
Jez07 joined a week ago, and since then he has posted nothing but bile and vitriol about the club and its coach, including how ashamed he is to be a Collingwood supporter. Now it is possible that he is a genuine Pies man, frustrated by where we are at (as we all are). But on the evidence to date, the troll alert has every reason to be flashing red.
