Threw $5 into a poker machine this arvo, free spins on the first roll, extra free spins on the first spin of the feature, $250 Smile

Then put a tenner on Maluguera at 10-1.

So I threw $50 on the Pies at $6.25 for over 39.5, could be my lucky day!!

We really, really, really, really, really, really need this win...
4 quarters/ heart/some semeblance of a game plan and Moore or Cox kicking a lazy 5 each and I will over Ye olde Moon...

It would be a good start if they each got a kick in the first half this week.

Spent the day in the garden, enjoying the weather, then got organised for tonight so I can kick back and watch us win in style.

Got some beef ribs in the oven on low, with them I'll have some Buffalo wings, blue cheese dipping sauce, Polish pickles, carrot and celery sticks, some fresh hummus and some lavosh and wash it down with a couple of bottles of Sangria.

Go Pies Very Happy

i went along to etihad expecting a bloodbath. the table topping pauperoos were made to look very second rate in the second half. if only the bombers were able to kick straight. oh and score a goal in the first half.

now i am watching my new team deal to gcs. we're talking flags.

for sugarman's sake i hope his team gets up so he can collect.

Backs against the wall, all logic says we won't win this one and if the Lions bring their best we likely won't. However, if we compete, pressure and play team defense we can take it. Need to get on top in the midfield so that our thin, young defense is not exposed and we can provide opportunities for our makeshift forward line. Against most teams we'd almost be without a chance when playing only one KPD, but the Lions don't have any imposing tall forwards so we could get away with Frost, Toovey and Howe as our taller defenders.
