Incompetent ticketing system = empty Ponsford.
Almost more cringeworthy than the on-field at the moment.

Interesting that we have exactly 55,000 members.

Is this creative accounting bullshit?

I weighed up heavily last night whether to go or not.
The tipping factor was the light beer policy at night games.
It is an insult and it comes straight from the nanny state handbook.
One less supporter means nothing in the greater scheme of things.
But many Iike me have a myriad of reasons why we don't go but the trend is obvious.
It is down.

Not much there under this group.
A few like me will keep paying only because I am a tragic.
At this rate we will be populated by tragic's only.
I keep saying we need hope.... but we keep getting same old same old.
I only wanted to reduce my level of membership for one year due to financial circumstances and was treated very poorly. First time in 32 years not a member and it seems I was only a number that they don't give a shit about. If we remove the 3 game membership as part of the figure, we may be in for a bigger shock.

How many complaints have I read about the way the club treats it's members.
Dozens.

Sit in a packed area with a few thousand Collingwood supporters baying for blood regardless of how much they've spent on their memberships - or - sit in a sparse area with empty seats everywhere while the PA system tells you "the only available seating is on level 4" while you're entering the ground.
?????????

I have reserved seats in M32 and I'd like to keep that spot, we really like our seats. But at the same time I don't see a problem with GA members sitting in the area, in fact I think it should be encouraged.

If I had a GA membership and knew that I'd have to sit on level 4, there would've been a genuine decision to make on a night such as last night.

I know first hand of 12 people that did not renew because of things the club could have done. Most involved a reduction in membership levels due to financial circumstances. One was simply moving a friends daughter from her seat two rows away to next to him as that seat was vacant (confirmed by the membership dept). Each time the clubs answer was no. The reason was the seat is for Legend members.

Hmm interesting. I'm about to start checking the situation out. It's obviously a waste of money paying the legend membership levy. If we somehow made a grand final, I'd sell my soul to get there anyhow! I'm going to go down to the club in person. I'd like to switch our home seat to the away one, or simular if possible, it's closer to the fence. But I also want to downgrade to reserve seat in some capacity. I might even look at AFL membership. Unfortunately MCG membership is still a way off, according to the last queue email!

^^I'd be surprised if they don't bend over backwards for you TP. All I wanted to do is keep my seat and drop my social club aspect so from Captains just to home games and it was no. My seat is still vacant as I sat in it last week and the people around me have said it's been vacant all year as have all the other seats near me of people I know that decided to say FU to the club as well.

Cheers

One of the reasons I want to go in person, I've done changes over the phone, and they just seem to be uninterested, and they always get stuffed up! Same if you email.
