One Nations James Ashby cleared of Qld crime commission probe

Queenslands Crime and Corruption Commission has closed down a preliminary investigation into revelations that Pauline Hansons chief of staff proposed to inflate election expenses claimed from the state.

In a statement today, the agency said it had completed an assessment and the controversy involving James Ashby did not fall within its jurisdiction.
