Yes, he's certainly in the top 35 players on the list, now. Great to see him work his way up.

^^More a groan. Too many jokes at Mayne's expense over the last year and a bit. Deserves to be acknowledged for his perseverance and for making a role his own and playing it well at AFL level.

If you can’t have a joke in life and have a laugh what’s the point on living?
Lighten up fella.

I’m not saying anything. I was always brought up to believe that self praise is no recommendation.

He's a limited footballer, but he is playing his role, is strongly built and has plenty of experience. He's certainly doing enough to keep his spot.

Will end up being a far better investment than Wells was, yet last year everyone was bagging him and thinking it was a great idea to waste so much money on a broken old man.

Dare I say it but I think he might have added another $200k to his contract after playing the role of "roadblock" to Melbourne's midfield drive. Starting to earn his keep at least and I must admit I was off my seat when he went for that hanger. Two signs that the team is going all right, Mayne nearly takes mark of the year and Adams slots a baanaanana. Wink

Big tank too Rudey; plenty of pre-season campaigns in that motor.
We are getting four quarters of solid running and accountable football.

Just as well Gubby signed him up for 4 years "on the cheap" lol! Laughing

Yeah, I know right?!
I think I also got some elevation off the couch when he launched at that grab too. Man, that would have brought the house down...

Stoked for both Mayne and Adams that they are finding the pill, and hitting their intended targets with much more efficiency of late.

Time for the club to get an official Chris Mayne wig in the merch store. We had the MCG full of MND beanies, I wanna see the ground packed full of Mayney wigs now, preferably on grand final day while he gets presented with the Norm Smith medal

The mop makes me angry, and I think I've put my finger on why: it seems too whimsical a choice for someone whose form has not been up to snuff. So, given his form is coming right along, I will try to tolerate the mop...

This guy deserves a shit load of credit for even playing for us again. I thought he was gone like 99% of supporters and media. Has found a role that and doing well. Got to give him a lot of credit for being professional. His training and general attitude must be respected.
