I knew they would be up for the game.
Media have been building them up all week to improve.
Carlton are almost always up when they play us.
Commentating is grating though, Dunstall and Hudson....urgh

Atrocious. Absolutely atrocious.
Horrible kick around body kicks, no one can bend over to pick up the ball, every defender fumbling like a goose, Crisp and Maynard look like they’ve never played footy before, Pendlebury trying to be a smart area every time instead of playing the percentages, no crumbers ANYWHERE around the ground let alone I50.
Lucky carlton suck otherwise we’d be down 20 points to any other team.
Looks like a painful afternoon where we lose embarrassingly or squeeze out a less than satisfying win.
Gross.

Our ball skills during that quarter were far below par. Could not handle the ball cleanly, and allowed them access to the ball when in previous rounds we would not have.Delivery quality likewise below standard. Need to improve.

| I agree about Maynard - and Greenwood and Howe both created scoring opportunities for Carlton with poor ball-handling - but I actually thought Crisp was quite solid. |
