Another game missed to covid. Frustrating for members, but it is what it is.

Just hope the club makes it up to us.

Well that's 2 games that we have missed the Geelong and now Melbourne.

2 i dont mind missing just quietly!!! this year anyway! but hopefully i can watch it at the beach house, i want outta here!

Unless your beach house is still in the metro area it looks like you will be staying home. It has already been announced that that will be no traveling between city and regional for the Queens birthday long weekend.

With Grundy still missing, we will face a huge dilemma in the ruck, up against the best tap ruckman in the game. As I see it these are our options:

1. Stick with Lynch

2. Bring in Kelly to defence and use Roughead as 2nd ruck with Cameron.

3. Replace Lynch with Cox.

I'm inclined to go with option 3, even though I'm all for trading Cox at the end of the year.

Sier did nothing before he got injured, so his absence won't hurt. I've been a consistent critic of Callum Brown, but he deserves credit for his best (half) game yet. As others have been calling for, he seems better suited to an inside mid role.

To give us even more attack up forward I'd love to see both McCreery and our newbie Ash Johnson come in.

In: Cox, McCreery, Johnson, C. Brown

Out: Lynch, Madgen, Rantall (unlucky), Sier (inj)

Pies by 7 points!

Poor Deeeees fans, the MCC toffs, cant have their usual chardonnay, Pimms, brandy lime and soda, plus their cucumber sandwiches, in their usual plush surrounds. ! Pressure all on Melb, nobody will take us seriously, so maybe an upset brewing, Crows did beat em. ? Love to beat this mob, then their fans, being in Sydney, can head to the snowfields of Mt Kossie, which is obviously be a lot closer than the usual ski chalets of Mt Buller here.!

Don't agree with the end of year trade, but if he is to go, best to get games in to him and hopefully he shows something that improves his trade value

Just to be clear, due to Covid, the safest cause of action is for both teams to drive past the empty MCG, on their way out to Tullamarine, board a plane full of randos to then cross into a Covid free zone and then return.

Seems to be consistent with the sense of all other Covid restrictions.

Empty MCG is exactly the point.

As much as the G is the preference spectators will be possible at the SCG.
