Wow, just wow, no one wins at Stoke, and I mean no one, yet we pull off a 3-1 victory, and Demba Ba Ba Black Sheep gets his second hat trick. Very Happy

Into 3rd place, but with games against Everton, the 2 Manchester teams and Chelsea in the next 4 rounds, it gets serious now.

Oh, and;

Andy Carroll - 25m pounds - 2 goals

Demba Ba - Free - 8 goals. Laughing

I am loving Demba Ba, and the whole French connection.

I have to say Pardew is doing a fantastic job, with barely any funds he found himself some players that have been doing a fantastic job for the team. I wasn't a fan of his when he came to the club, but what he's been doing this season with the club it seems we're more a team then we've been for a long time.

The team are bonding well, on and off the pitch which I believe is the key, getting them to know each other well.

There is also an Aussie Mags meet up down here in Tassie for the Heart/Jets game next weekend. We'll be meeting at the Wagon and Horses in North Hobart.

There's already four of us involved, cannot wait for it.

Another win for the toon! that makes it 11 unbeaten to start the season! If the unthinkable happens and the great unwashed beat manure then we would go 2nd!

Great win, all of the top 4 sides won, and we are one of those top 4. Surprised

We seem to be struggling a little bit with injuries now, the likes of Cabaye, Tiote and Ameobi (Shola) all seem to be out for a little while, although the international break will help next weekend.

Anyway, sitting 3rd, unbeaten, couldn't ask for any more.

Or could we? Champions League action in Newcastle in 2012/13, surely not?

Obertan is also out, with an injured toe.

What a cracking volley by Ryan Taylor, he's really stepped up this season, playing a role he's not familiar with. Sammy Ameobi looked exciting when he had the ball, and looked like creating some chances.

I cannot wait to see Haris Vuckic in the side.

Long since retired, doing well in the media, was rumored to be the next manager of some lower league side but didn't want to give up his media job.

Rumors suggest that Mike Ashley is close to ripping up Nile Ranger's contract after he was again arrested.

Been a great season, looking forward to the Man City game!

Spurs appear to have an easier run home than us but how good are the Magpies going Exclamation 6 wins from the last 6 games & only conceeded 1 goal in those 6 outings.

Last 4 games - Wigan (17th) Away
- Chelsea (6th) Home
- Man City (2nd) Away
- Everton (7th) Away

Spurs have - Blackburn (18th) Home
- Bolton (19th) Away
- Villa (15th) Away
- Fulham (9th) Home
