No, I couldn’t. I think I must have missed someone. Like it matters.
Or I can’t count to 22, which may be the third bottle of Charles Orban Blanc de Blanca speaking. |

FWIW, Stevo kicked 2 goals. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

True, but i’m reasonably sure he’d didn’t touch the ball in the second half (I mean “reasonably sure” - I don’t have access to quarter by quarter stats and I may be wrong). |

Really OVER this shit, over it, that's 11 now ELEVEN GFs I have seen us lose, six by under two goals, I cant take any more of it. AND folks wonder why I don't watch Grand Finals, with Collingwoood in it, I went for a three hour walk, I knew, I knew all too well. Now you young people on here, who cant remember all GF losses, like us Pies Vets, now YOU know OUR pain, a pain that seemingly never, ever ends.
Im done for now, done, don't even think at this stage, I will re new by membership, cant be bothered anymore, we had our chances, we blew it, from all accounts, 5 goals up, you don't lose GFs from there, having all the play. Im done. Done. Heartbreakng. |
Piesnchess, I completely understand where you're coming from. To any Collingwood supporter that has followed the club from 1958 onward has seen far too many GF loses and too many by close margins. To all of you I feel extremely bad for and my Dad falls into this basket, but he accepted this loss in a different way. He knew their marking power was going to be a problem and when we inevitably lost to it he was far more rationale than I because he has seen it so many times before it is like water off a ducks back to him. I have seen 2 wins, a draw and 4 defeats and it is starting to grate on me as well. I hope thay 30 years from now I don't end up a Pies supporter who has seen more GF losses than flags, that would be too much. Even though we were not the better side for the majority of the game today, we were in front with a only a few minutes left and I just don't know why we couldn't have been the team to pinch that goal...why not us?? _________________ RED "BABY" CAVANAUGH: Didn't hear what the bet was.

Sucks but IF Eagles kicked straight in last Qtr we would of Lost by 2-3 Goals. and Outside of Start they out played for 3 Qtrs
Sad to see us lose like that but I say the Better Team Won and they have had our Number in all 3 Games.
Was Super Pissed after Win but after bit of Relflaxing I felt proud how we went this season. Miles better then I ever thought.
Plus getting that close to a Flag with not being close to our Best Team is a Huge Effort.
Some Players I think be Disappointed in there game today and they where
Grundy - Still a Huge Fan but Vardy and Lycett did a number on him. They did the Same thing vs Gawn last week and I think that is the Biggest Reason they won the Flag as there Rucks stopped Grundy and Gawn Influence
JT and Miocheck - Tried Hard but thought both was Beaten
Pendles - Does not look like the player he used to be 1-2 Seasons Ago
Cox - Yes Kicked 2 and Took some marks late but out of that was Quiet
Here are the Players I was very Proud Of"
Mayne - I was a Massive Critic this time last year but I really thought he played well
Adams - Massive Game and was our Heart and Soul
Sier - Was Patchy but did some really classy things
Stephenson - Excitment Machine but being a Rookie was bit Skinny/Not Strong Enough to have more of a Influence
Langdon - Disposal gets me Worried but was Huge taking Marks late in the Game
Though the loss was a Typical Collingwood GF Loss - Getting Pipped _________________ I am Da Man |

Jesus!! We've mastered losing on the big stage.
WTF is wrong with our club. How can this be? This is more than just bad luck.
We need to cleanse the club because something is just not right. |
Yep, look we can MAKE GFs, theres no doubt of that, but we just struggle to win the bastard things, we have for decades, in 1930s we lost three on end, in the 50s 2 more, under Rose, 3 more, Hafey, 5 more. And the beat goes on. Now under Bucks. We can make em, but we cant WIN em, and that's what we have to learn, to make it like Hawthorn can, and win the bloody GF. I don't know what Hawthorn has, but we have to bottle it, find a way to emulate them in GFs, they don't stuff around. They just take care of business, and win the bastard. We MUST find a way to do it. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Mayne is useless. Drop him.
Ok, so we made the 8. We won’t win a final. We can’t beat teams in the 8.
Ok, so we won a final, and Mayne was alright. But there’s no way we’ll beat Richmond. Zero chance. It’s not possible.
Ok, so we slapped Richmond, and Cox was awesome. We better damn well win the GF!
We lost the GF. WE’RE CUUUURRRRRRSSSSEEEEDD!!!
^ Do I have those arguments about right? What a crock. Do they look as ridiculous to you as they do to m
We vastly outperformed ourselves this year, which is a stunning credit to an excellent coach, a solid structure and a spirited group of players who put their best on the field each week. Congrats, Pies. Proud of you! |
Cox isn't useless, he is what I would call, restricted.
He only seems to be able to mark the ball when he has a run at it.
Whenever he ends up having to jump for the ball without a run, he seems to spill it. |
