The Pope, why WOULD Vic clubs make any up front payment to the AFL ? , they ONLY formed the game and the league !!??

It "might" have merged with the VFA, but it still would have been the best Australian Rules competition in the land. That's why interstate clubs were more than happy paying the joining fee. The SANFL dragged their feet on the issue of joining the league on the deluded and parochial idea that they could form a better comp. then the VFL, West Coast winning games quickly changed that.

Where was this topic when Collingwood were Playing Nth Melbourne back in the Black & White TV days people think its tough now you should of seen it in the 70's

I must confess I have not read all the replies to this....

But 2 things

1. Does it matter what jumper we wear....AAMI stadium is OUR HOME game....we own that stadium and will spank them whether we wear pink....

2. We will never change jumpers....eddie is as stubborn as they come his rep is on the line and unless the afl change the rules....we will always wear the black and white

Oh and finally.....port go and get .......
