The 9 disposals from Marsh must have been outstanding on the VFL last week.

Obviously had more influence on the result than Cloke's 4 goals.... Shocked

Been pretty widely discussed that Goldsack (6 disposals), Marsh (9 disposals), Witts and Goodyear were the 4 best AFL listed players.

Must be a bit like where Moore gets a 1/3 of the number of kicks and kicks 1/2 the score of Cloke but has twice the influence.... apparently.

Would free up Howe to move back to a wing.

Howe's intercept marking and kicking along with Reid was a major reason for our turnaround I reckon, he's gotta stay back.

Id like to see Marsh tried in the forward line or wing. He has a bit of an x factor that scares me a bit down back . His speed and strength could be a real asset sorta like White I spose

Absolutely agree.

Their talls could stretch us. As previously noted they have very good inclusions. If Sinclair comes in for Crocker is he playing a defensive tag on their their forward & rotating smalls?

What I like about Crocker is he knows how to kick a goal & can take a good mark for his size. Then again Sinclair can run, break lines & is also a very good mark for his size.

Howe is vital in the backline especially after last weeks game.

Agree with all of this.

Part of me understands why Sinclair would replace Crocker, but I think Crocker could be a dangerous option up forward and most importantly he can kick accurately as you've noted.

It will be interesting to see how we approach this game. The Bulldogs have some major inclusions so they're a stronger team on paper this weekend as opposed to last week but I hope we can exploit the fact that Suckling and Adams will inevitably be underdone for this game.

Redpath and Stringer need to be closely looked at as they ripped apart Melbourne two weeks ago when I was watching that match at the MCG as a neutral. However, most importantly the match will be won in the midfield so we need all our midfielders to step up the way they did last week.

We're rightfully underdogs based on the whole season's form, but I think we're a chance if we play to a similar standard and intensity as last week.

Some stability at Collingwood Smile

The guys that are part of a winning team deserve their spot and should only be pushed out by outstanding performances from players in the magoos. Reputation is not enough - quite simply 'what have you done lately' is the key message!

However sometimes it is the need for the right "horses for the course" type of thinking. I have this gut feeling that Marsh will come in mainly due to his pace and carry. Don't know who he will replace between Crocker, Tooves and Maynard.
This is just a speculative guess on my part, just as likely to be no change at all to the winning side.

Yep - Howe to the backline has made a massive difference. He needs to stay there.
