Crows playing a tall forward line with Walker, Jenkins and Fogarty.

I'd play Manyard on Fogarty, bull vs bull, but does Dunn go to Walker or Jenkins?

Can we send Reid back to the backline and play Cox amongst munchkins up forward?

With the prediction of rain, just be prepared for Cox ( or Reid ) out and the Blair in.

We know Blair has travelled with the team. What about the other emergencies?

Me thinks it'll be a certainty.

Wow, not sure if Bucks can coach but he sure has trouble picking a team. Thought Mayne deserves a chance as he is big bodied. Blair always does well in the VFL because he does have a lot of experience. Bucks always says" going forward" but you cannot keep going back to a 2010 great player now great teacher for our up & comers. Love to see a bit of daring at selection with some already mentioned here like Sier & company. Go Pies

Realistically we don’t stand much chance of winning this. Grand finalist a few games ago, on one of the few home ground advantages left. If we are within four goals at the end it will have been a par performance.

De Goey over Adams should be an upgrade this season, though we'd prefer both to be playing.

We're still lacking talent up front and will rely on midfielders rotating forward again.

Down back I expect Dunn will take Jenkins and Howe, Walker. Scharenberg likely to matchup on Fogarty. Not a major concern, but if Walker can take advantage and play more physically than usual he will be a danger.

Our team's not super strong here and the Crows should be expected to win. The massive losses are Elliott and Moore, we just can't replace them. I really like our defence with Moore down there, without him it's a little vulnerable and takes Howe away from intercept marking.

The only two players suitable for Jenkins would be Dunn or Reid.

Walker will have a sizeable weight advantage against Howe or Scharenberg.

Given the weather forecast surprised the crows have selected all of Lynch, McGovern and Fogarty.

No Fasolo cos of defensive pressure. Get stuffed. He won our goal kicking last year with barely 3/4 of a season on the park, and had the yips early season.

No matter who we play forward the ball usually rebounds out pretty quickly, so I'd rather a proven goal kicker than not.

A fit Fasolo and we don't play him.

Laughable.

Yes, I find this team selection bizarre. If Fas is fit, why did he not at least replace Stephenson? The only explanation that makes any sense is that, for reasons we are unaware of, he is not quite right to go.
