Yep Lazza. Gawn and Grundy were on a par in 2018/19, Brodie even slightly ahead. Since then Max has continued to improve and get better in all aspects of the game. Meanwhile, Grundy has gone backwards.
What happened? There was the confounded contract and the impact of Covid. All players were subjected to the latter, so 🤷 . |

Not just this game. e.g. Look at his Q4 against the same side where he kicked that goal after the siren to deliver the minor premiership.
Re. "best ruckman", he and NicNat have been the two AA ruckmen for two years running, so if you believe the AA selectors then NicNat is his only competition... Also, fastest player to 5 AA selections...

Do you realize that Brissy knocked WB out of the top 4 in the last 20 seconds of their game against WC, when the last quarter went for almost 40 minutes??  
The Age said twice that there was a timing error... Bloody big timing error. How can a quarter go on for 10 minutes more than normal? Did you hear any whingeing about a 40 minute quarter that cost WB a top-4 spot? I didn't. It's gobsmacking. |

Dunno how folks can still believe it's about "connection" when Grundy also turns the ball over by handball and foot, not just by hit out. Who is he failing to "connect" with when he handballs under no pressure straight to e.g. Flip in the clear against Hawthorn? |

Ummm, did you see the rest of the Melbourne team play? Name the passengers the u der performers? The green kids? The whole $£$%^%%$ team was super slick! When Gawn was tapping out there were players positioning themselves for him, you know as is their job. Yes indeed, Grundy could only dream! Much easier to play well if those around you are too!

Somewhere on the net is the umpire calls for and against, check out who is no 1 on them all, also check out their finals records, and where those calls are. I don’t want an advantage I want a fair playing field, so to whoeverfound those extra seconds, I salute you and Thankyou ,

Yes to all of this! Please please please! At least now my worst nightmare grand final combo cannot come true. The thought of having to favourthe, in any game was not a nice one!
