^ There is something about Canberrians that i admire, they seem to live in their own little cocoon world of optimism,faith,delusion,pathos,boredom,-"Lets rock Cockington Green guys"-and niaevety. Yet they thrive and survive in that rarified atmosphere. Now that i do admire.

For those people who don't know me. In 2005 I suffered a bout of pneumonia (after my tonsilitis, then bronchitis got worse) but still jumped on a flight to Adelaide to witness us get pumped by the Crows by 110 Points.
Also in 1999 (a wooden spoon season) whilst living in Adelaide, I travelled 11 times to see one friggin win.

Well Turtle, MM was coach this year and delivered us a flag. It's a shame you had to walk away, it could have been a really pleasurable experience for you

Oh well, quite a lot of us have spent this finals series saying we were sorry for being TOTALLY wrong.
Turtle come on home son. No time to miss the glory and fun now.
I've said it before, but thank God Mick continued to believe in Mick when many of us wavered.
And if Eddie's tears don't show how much he loves this club, nothing will.

Queued up gleefully to push the knife in at every opportunity, talked down our successes, lied about the coach, poured scorn on those who believed, belittled our players, belittled our president's many achievements, started splinter groups to undermine Eddie and the Board... Wavered??? It a lot more than wavered, and now you lot are feasting at the same table as the true believers. And don't give me the side by side rhetoric because you didn't believe it then and you have no right to use it now. The true believers have a right to use it and extend its ethos to the termites, which we do of course but don't believe for one minute we don't know who you are and what you've done before.
