It's being reported on radio ASADA legal bill could be upwards of $2,000,000 which means Essendons could be equally as high so somewhere around $4,000,000 plus any possible legal action taken by players for loss of earnings on and off the field as well as damages for any health issues that may arise in the future.
Ever hear of the James Hardie asbestos illness fund being set aside for any future health issues well this has every ear marking of the same thing. The players could demand a significant sum of money be set aside by the club to be used with any health issues that they may encounter going forward on the basis the club failed in its duty of care to protect them from harm. |
