Aargghhh... Bad news already.

EQ did say she felt IQ was a first-rounder. I guess (the rest of) her club agreed.

On cold accounting:
Pick 13 is 1,212 points. What was it, a 20% discount? Then 970 points.
How many does that leave us with?

(Apparently, after the first round, the discount is fixed at 197 points.)

Our calculations look to have been pretty much spot on. If we go into deficit at all (Kelly would need to be bin on before 25, strong chance he won't) it would be a minimal amount.

Thirteenth best player in a strong draft? Have to be happy with that.

Yes, good selections, crap environment!

Not a real football club for young men when their home clubs have a greater and longer history.

If I hear that drunk clich talking philanderer David King say player was a "steal" one more time I'm going to spew up!

^ Cut his tongue out too. It is a multi-purpose cure. ("Philanderer"? Is there something interesting there?)

While we wait for something exciting to occur, you may wish to try these recipes:

https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1018843-braised-tongue

("... its taste is clean and beefy and its texture is firm and fleshy...");

https://www.bbc.com/food/recipes/leekandpotatosoupwit_93783

("Remove the skin and any glands or excess fat and gristle");

https://www.sbs.com.au/food/recipes/barbecued-ox-tongue

("...which, when cooked, is wonderfully tender...").
