GIANTS to Appeal Greene Suspension

The GIANTS will appeal Toby Greene’s one-match suspension, which was upheld at the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday night.
Greene was charged by the Match Review Officer with making unreasonable or unnecessary contact to the eye region of Brisbane’s Lachie Neale following an incident in the second quarter of Saturday’s Semi-Final win.
The AFL Tribunal was held in Melbourne on Tuesday night with Greene appearing in person and pleading not guilty to the charge.
The GIANTS will lodge paperwork to appeal the decision by the deadline of 12pm tomorrow.
The GIANTS take on Collingwood in a Preliminary Final at the MCG on Saturday evening.

Glad someone mentioned this. Right now, it's as if we need to select two teams - one with Toby playing and one with him not there. As if it's not complicated enough choosing the replacements for JDG and Levi 
I imagine all the coaches are trying to drum into the players, "Forget the outside noise, focus on us". |

The Greater waste of space flogs must be really, really shit scared of playing us If they r going to appeal that, this is so distracting for him and his dumb ass team, just now a total distraction for them, They cant handle the MCG, we all know it, that's what they should be concentrating on now, hope we belt the living shit outa them no matter what. !!

Thought he was safe before that last close up footage which shows him raking at Neales eye. It's pretty damning evidence and impossible to defend imo. Appeal all they like, I can't see them arguing their way out of that one.
