I think In Betheras Out Williams

Dont think MM will make drastic changes. Considering Adelaide have Clarke and Biglands it would be madness to drop McKee this week.

Here is an article in relation to the likelihood of Cloke playing on Carey.

Cloke the pupil eyes Carey test

Less than a week after his lesson from young Lion Jonathan Brown, Jason Cloke has been nominated by Collingwood coach Mick Malthouse as a likely pupil for old master Wayne Carey in tomorrow night's game-of-the-round against Adelaide at Telstra Dome.

The thing is, Brown did not kick a goal for three qtrs. Apart from the first qtr, I would hardly call that a 'lesson'.

yeah apparently last week,2 lion players had sore ankles or something along those lines and couldn't train well and we all know what happened, they recovered.

Pity its a delay in the tv viewing after all its not a important top 4 spot match or anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I've read an Adelaide supporter say that it isn't like Adealide to play mind games. A few of them didn't train last night, so, there could be some truth in it;.

Confidence will be THE big factor against the Crows. Our record against Brisbane in recent years is poor (I think something like to 2 wins out of the last 10 games ) We have a good record against the Crows .. we beat them earlier on their turf and they are now playing on ours. A win is critical to holding a top 4 spot. Let's get begind the boys and back them all the way. I am confident of a win.

why would molloy be dropped when ben hart is not playing surely molloy would have stretched the defence of adelaide.Plus being played at the dome the weather is not going to effect his marking.Plus molloy could be used on carey if cloke does'nt work.

Mind games, you say?

From ...... Moron Park?

I don't think so.

Mick Malthouse has said often enough that the team he takes onto the paddock is the very best team he can muster. That's good enough for me.

Let's stone some crows. Let 'em know the Pies are back in town.

I am more worried about this one than I was about last week. adelaide is a very good side in very good form. MM says he doesn't look at the ladder much during the year, but don't believe that's the case for this one. This is the match that WILL decide our top 4 chances. A loss this week and it is a big ask next week against the swans. Hopefully the story about the flu is true.

CARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRN PIIEEESSSS!

Seriously, tonight we have to go out there switched on. We must be ready from the get go and we must not stop. Adelaide will test us, but we are at the business end of the season now, so we must play some good footy.

Query about this flu thing. Forgive my ignorance but with footy players being super fit, eating the right things, being in the lovely fresh air lots you'd figure they'd be immune to the "flu". Surely it's a ploy for something else or is it just the sniffles and they're making it out to be more than what it really is. I just don't understand.

Nitric - love the clockwork orange pic.

yes nitric, VERY nice pic!

not stanley's best film but it's still great.

as for the flu thing; well, i dunno about everyone else, but it seems like nearly every person i know has been sick over the last month or so. including myself. so it was only a matter of time before the flu struck a footy club.

Natalie, if anything, athletes who train as intensely as AFL footballers are probably MORE prone to any "bugs" that happen along. In hindsight, the crows were more likely to be susceptible than others given their hectic schedule recently. This constant "bad" stress drives down the immune system to a point where it can crash. This phenomenom is not unusual especially at higher levels of athletic performance

Well guys I think we will lose tonight...I haven't thought that for awhile. Once I saw that everyone in the paper picked Collingwood (24-1), well I just have a baaad feeling. I hope I am wrong!!!
It's just my humble opinion....
