Pete was a great host.
The show is just ok nowdays. Not as funny,
but even Caroline Wilson can string a question together.
I cringe most times Sam Lane asks something. She stutters and sounds nervous when asking a player something.
At least Caro would fire something out at a player.
Chrsti Malthouse should replace her.

Totally agree. My objection to Sam Lame has nothing to do with her looks - she gives female sports journos a bad name. She's all giggles and lame questions - not that Andy Maher is much better! His giggle is just slightly deeper in volume, and the others don't pretend to be journos so their contributions can be facile without appearing (too) idiotic most of the time.
I'm not a fan of Lehmo tho...who the hell is he anyway?

geez, I like Andy Maher too. What's wrong with you guys? 
Admittedly, the show without Hellier probably wouldn't be as good. I can't stand him on rove live, but he does the footy thing ok.

Haven't seen the show for a while but always enjoyed watching it. As for Sam, she's no oil painting but comes across as a hornbag and that's appealing

They used to be funny when they kept it simple and did some fun things.
Anyone remember the player diaries they used to do at the end of every episode? A lot of those were genuinely funny.
Don't watch it now though. It's rather...blah.
Also, I agree about Sam Lane. She really is woeful.

The think that shits me about Lane is that the other panellists will be taking the piss out of a player with a series of dumb questions that crack everyone up and she'll come out with "so Richmond had 5% higher hardball gets than you guys for the first three quarters, what influence do you think that had on the game?" and kill the whole merriment of the show.
At least, that's what I remember. I haven't watched it for years. Um, has it been on for years?

The show has too much bluebellie influence,and dave hughes constant whining voice,is like chalk on a blackboard.And hughies defence of fat Pratt was lower than a snakes tummy,his brown nosing made me cringe.Sam lane is kinda cute,but andy marr is an annoying little turd,and molloy looks bored a lot.
