He has a regular Fri morning spot on 774 with Red Symons and Andrew Demetriou. On the morning before GF #1 when doing their tips, Andrew D tipped us to win (he was on the Pies for most of the season) and Crackers tipped Saints. When Andrew D tried to tell him how good Collingwood were against Geelong in the Prelim and was pumping up our tyres, Crackers refused to give any credit to us whatsoever and just said, 'yeah, but Geelong played really badly'.

Before GF #2, when Crackers tipped Saints again to win (and Demetriou picked Pies) - I knew we were safe.

He just sounds awfully bitter and twisted doesnt he???

What a tool! We'd just won the flag, isn't Maxy entitled to celebrate? Sharing it with the fans, IMO, is very appropriate.

I read this article while i was browsing through a newsagent on my lunch hour the other day and couldn't believe what he wrote.Everything he said about Maxwell was the complete opposite to how Nick behaved after the Grand Final.Nick couldn't have been more gracious and humble after the G.F. and behaved no differently than any other captain has in recent years.Yet Crackers Keenan criticises him for his behaviour.Ridiculous.

But he wasn't the only one in that magazine to have a pot shot at Collingwood.Some boring old fart by the name of Russel Holmsby(i think)said he felt like vomitting when commentators claimed that Collingwood's win was joyous.Well pardon me,but isn't it a joyous occasion for any club when they win a premiership?So why should Collingwood be treated any differently?It's just a case of sour grapes and pettiness from that magazine,i'm afraid.

The only consolation is that Inside Football is a dinosaur of a magazine and hardly anyone reads it anymore.

And best of all,we won the premiership and there's nothing they can do about it!

After what Jim Main said about the young kid getting his photo with Joffa I would suggest no one associated with our club ever buy that tool of a paper again. They can keep selling to the ever decreasing masses of the delusional.

Another example of a media person not coping with the reality of Collingwood making them eat their words. Get used to it Crackers, there's a whole lot more to come in the next 5 years.

Why not take a pot shot at tom harley while he's at it. after the cats gf win in 2009 harley stood on the fence holding the premiership cup up for the world to see just as nick maxwell did. crackers is literally crackers. another bitter old fart struggling to come to terms with a Collingwood premiership. scroll down.
