Jolly is still coming to terms with the difference between being a footballer and a Collingwood footballer courtesy of the scumpires.

I think you will find that he was actually showing the umpires how Judd had "handballed" at the end of the first. It was his version of are you blind??
Love to be hated by all but I think that the media need to be careful about how they show that hatred. I'm sure Krak more than any other would love to put the history behind him. |

i always think its stupid and laughable when they go on about this crap!
kids dont know what it means they dont know what a shocker is (neither did we as i recall!)
but when any player for any team misses a goal, the camera zooms in on their face and you get a great big obvious
F**K!
that every kid in town lip reads understands!
get a life!!

Even if kids did know what he meant, what harm does Krakouer's gesture do? Is he making jail seem cool? I don't get the "think of the children" argument in this case.
There is a question of whether it shows disrespect to the victims of crime - the same question was raised when Goddard made the gesture. I think it was Andrew Bolt who got stuck into BG for showing support for someone who did what BG's brother did (whatever that was, I can't remember). So, not a piece to be taken seriously, but the "outrage" was there even then.

Horan has ballsed up big time, Its about time the AFLPA association did something like "Michael Horan is not welcome to talk to any of our members until he apologises to Andrew and any other player who has done it for that matter". This is a big part of the Kraks rehabilitation. You are a bigot Horan and have breached a number of standards.

I agree with this completely.The Herald Sun,along with most of the media in Australia does this all the time.They try to create news and influence public opinion rather than just report on the news. |
