You'd be more than welcome Nick, I think we're getting some momentum here, perhaps time we made a date and shared a brew.

You still havent confirmed you are paying for all of us Mr self-important-i- pay-lots-of-tax-fridge-magnet.

One quibble — and I know this may defeat the purpose of the exercise — but does it have to be at the Lexpac Centre? I'm happy to go there if it's convenient for most people, but something about that place gives me the creeps.

Are there any other pubs of historical importance in the area? It's a real shame that the Yarra closed down.

Personally, I've always wanted to visit The Pint on Punt and hang out with Fred Negro. Mr. Green

If/when you visit the Pint on Punt watch what you say to Fred, "lets hang-out" can have several meanings.

There's one on Smith St, buggered if I can remember what it's called - the one where the club was founded in the 1890s

Haha, good on you JoJo, don't let the silly little bugger bother you, he's not bothering me. I actually feel sorry for the little guy, stuck at home with mum and dad, living on the dole. It's hard when you have to ask for permission to use the Internet and when you want to go out. It really does seem like I have got him quite riled up, sad, angry, little anonymous Internet hero.

So, I'm happy for it to be somewhere else. If those who offered to buy drinks if cloke stayed don't want to show or pay, fairy nuff. Could still have a bit of a Nicks catch up for those interested. Buy your own unless someone offers to buy you one, in which case good manners suggests you buy one back. Simple.

As long as Jo can get a safe car park for that sexy car of hers (can't have my chauffeur upset), I don't mind where we do it. Be great if we can get as many as possible, a sort of Nicks get together.

Grace Darling would be great. Does it still exist? (Sorry, I probably should know... Embarassed).

Edit: Google says yes!

One of the advantages is that it's actually in Collingwood, not out in the middle of nowhere near a bunch of railway lines. Razz

So we have a venue, now we need a date and time, preferably on the weekend.
