I've been a big Josh Thomas fan for a long time & was stoked to see him get an opportunity. What I was disappointed with was that we had him playing mostly on the wing. Stoppages are his bread & butter & if we aren't going to use him there then there is no place for him. Martin offers more variety & can play inside & out as is more dangerous if moved forward.
I reckon Ball will be back the week after against the Cats
I acknowledge Blair's form but we cannot afford to regain his form in the VFL until Ball & Beams are back.

Agree with all of the above.

Didn't see the VFL game.

Mooney on the wide open spaces in Perth might be a go. He added some energy against the Eagles pre-season. Quick as Sinclair and a more accurate kick. Have room to upgrade with Frost and Tooves down.

Perhaps Ball for 60% game time with Kennedy brought on for leg speed later in the game as sub.

Witts out and maybe a rest for Dwyer to refresh him. I have certainly enjoyed his contribution so far though.

Agreed, but mooney will have to be elevated yes?

I like this idea AP but maybe the other way round to suit balls lack of pace? Maybe wait till the pace is out of the game. As let's be honest if it wasn't for the vfl having a bye we probably wouldn't be talking about him just yet.

I would love to see Dids re-appear from the wilderness this week like a prophet. The open spaces over there would help him with his magic and finding space. There is a lot of melancholy for Dids atm, but one thing he can do is visualise and set up play.

My prediction. Collingwood to win by 12 - 18 points. Nick's to go into angry meltdown because we didn't win over there by over 100 points....... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Hope your right Lazza. Win over thier would be very nice.

Id be happy with a 1 point margin as long as it came with 4 points attached.

Absolutely right SZ. At prersent I actually do NOT want us to peak, just win the 4 points and continue to slowly improve. Happy with that.

1 point win in W.A against a desperate Freo would do me anyday.
