As for Sidebottom ... STUPID act. You rarely need to jump in the air to grab the pill. Will be sorely missed vs Hawks. I'd even go as far as saying we have little hope vs Hawthorn without our best team on the park.
Was hoping for 3 to 2. 4 to 3 is a bitter pill to swallow. He'll essentially miss up to a month of footy, and will be rusty on return. Back for Carlton. |

4 down to 3 is about right.
As for a replacement, Sidebottom and Dwyer are pretty much the same player. (Sidey with a better left peg though.)

| Run in off the square and clean up the tagger so he gets subbed off? Yeah take the 3 and be happy about it. Didn't Brodie (of the Holland variety) get 6 doing pretty much the same thing once? |

He deserves what he got and i agree that he was jumping for the ball HOWEVER as we all know the aussie rules ball can bounce in any direction. Ask Mline that. When he jumps yes he may get the ball but his also likely to collect someone as well. He collected Weller, couldn't play the rest of the game and therefore Sidey deserves his whack.
Now with Goodes, how the MRP cleared him is f***ed, bracing for contact my arse, you could argue Sidey was bracing for impact too. Goodes jumped, got Selwood high and therefore should of been a week but his a golden child and remember everyone he is the current Australian of the Year, we cant have him in the bad books |

He did a silly thing and will now miss the next 3 weeks.
I hope Bucks tells him off for it. He's been such an important player this year and will be missed. |
