Freo are going better without Crowley.

Food for thought.

That assumes they wouldn't be even better with Crowley in the side. Very good footballer is Crowley.

Crisp is 190 cm!
Midfield players of this size are Gold!
Stuff the midgets.

How quick we are to dump a premiership player.

Not very quick at all, premiership players are like any other players - you perform or you make way.

Sure everyone may be on the bus but it doesn't entitle ANYONE to a free ride.

I prefer Crisp these days. I suspect the Caff will be a bit player from now on until one day Collingwood will find itself decaffinated.

I feel sorry for Caff because of his injury, but until he got the tagger role he was considered a very limited footballer. Crisp looks to me to have the edge in skill (his ball use has been great so far) and his height is an added bonus in the midfield.

Crisp got his colours lowered tonight, but I can't imagine Caff would have gone much better

I've always been stunned at the accolades that come Caff's way. At full strength, I couldn't see how Caff is in our best 22 and a couple of years ago when it was floated that he might be traded, I was kind of hoping that he was going to be. From the outside looking in, it seems that Bucks wants him there at all costs and I'm no fan of coaches playing favourites with players. His tagging role is redundant because he can't hurt the opposition in attack. A good depth player at best. Crisp looks dangerous and can make the opposition pay. Caff's kicking has little penetration -- he kind of stabs at it when he goes to a set shot. I can't see where he fits to be honest.
