It doesn't sit well with me that an opposition player is touring our facilities during the season, but I suppose that's the nature of football these days. I don't think many of us would like it if a Collingwood player was visiting the Bulldogs facilities for example.

Anyway, I've seen Jong play a bit and I think his standout attribute is his marking. However, he hasn't been able to break into the Bulldogs team on a regular basis, but I do think he has upside and with him being 23 now he could really start to shine with the right development.

He's nothing special but I think he could be a handy player for us as long as we don't give too much away for him.

Suppose they'll want a couple of first or second rounders, and a future pick for good measure!

Not a good look. Imagine if a Pies player was visiting the Bombers Tullamarine site or the Scums Princes Park facilities in July.

The only people visiting the Bombers Tullamarine site are ASADA.

The only people visiting the Scums Princes Park facilities are the ATO.

Not true Dyso I heard Jeannie and Juddy often visit scum haven park late at night for a special conference

And ASADA won't visit Tullamarine they are to scared to stand on a used syringe

I stand corrected then - I hope Juddy found another use for those paper bags, other than ca$h recepticles, for his own peace of mind...

Heading down the NRL pathway. Players will sign up with another club mid season to play with their new club the following season. The APLPA are pushing for new changes to Free Agency in the current EBA and I would expect this will be part of the change.

Now in saying that, what idiot didn't think the media would find out? Now the poor kid faces the wrath from his club and supporters.

For once I agree with Hiss, surely this is a joke.

I dont rate Lin Jong at all, and I watch a lot of footy too!

Play him as a Blair replacement. Never forget the whole moneyball fixation which I think the Hawks use best.

Averages
4 tackles a game - tick
14 disposals - 6 kicks / 8 handballs
.5 goals

2015
65% disposal eff
clangers 2.2 pg

2016
73% disposal eff
clangers 1.7 pg

Let's face it, if he's gone to the Holden Centre out in the open then there is very little chance he will actually be inbound one would think.

And let's not forget Victor... although I'm not sure how it relates to this thread.

His stats aren't great.
And Blairs goal kicking is better.

According to latest Herald Sun report, Pies have cooled on Lin Jong (took only one day!?). In my view, we should not even be looking in his direction...we don't need another midfielder who "could excel with further development" (have many already like that). We need key position players in defence, and another small forward. Why aren't we hunting these like wolves??
