Could you please go into detail about what the club could have done? I’m asking this seriously as I have wondered how we came to be in the position we were regarding Grundy and what choice we had that wasn’t taken by us. _________________ I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. Okay I think this is not a realistic outcome unfortunately. You can’t just paper over the loss of established key players and suddenly assume that getting a couple of new players will lead you to a flag. This is too simplistic a thought process that minimises the need for the new players to gel and get to know the game plan and tactical skills to execute it. I love the positives mentioned after the trades but I have some reservations about the time required for ultimate success. I don’t think the club did what they did for a quick fix. _________________ I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas.
