As much as I hate the Thursday game it gives Melbourne a four day turn around from an interstate trip. A handy thing to have going our way

No it doesn’t. It’s not this Thursday it’s the week after.

For the record I hate thursday games too. Luckily I can work from home the next day but still hate them.

Always going to be Thursday night, it’s the no1 spot for the top team.

We were never going to win on KB, we were ready for the bye. This time we’ll be fit and firing, well rested and should get the win. Then rest up for Port at the G!

J Daicos De Goey Sidey
Hill Mihocek McCreary
Elliott McStay Ginnivan
Cameron Mitchell Crisp

Interchange:
WHE Pendles Adams Cox (Markov)

Emergencies:
Lipinski McCrae Allan Krueger

Lipinski is the contentious one there, might indeed come down to him or Beau. Hosk and Oleg have really being linking and gut running the last month.

Here's my speculative team for the QF:
(similar to 90 nice)

OUT: Frampton, Lipinski, Macrae (sub)
IN: Moore, Murphy, McCreery

FB: Maynard, Murphy, Howe
HB: IQ, Moore, Markov
C: JDaicos, De Goey, WHE
HF: Hill, Mihocek, McCreery
FF: Elliott, McStay, Ginnivan
FOL: Cameron, Mitchell, Crisp

IC: Sidebottom, Pendles, Adams, Noble
EMG: Lipinski, Macrae, Frampton, Cox (sub)

* 3 old guys are on the IC near the oxygen tank at hand, Lol
* I feel the big marking forward is a weakness. But get ball to ground, that's our strength.
* Frampton's role not in the side weakens the backline if there is an injury

I think the last time we played them on King's Birthday we had no De Goey, Elliott and Ginnivan

We are a much better team playing them this time round.

I felt on that day that we would have won if Ginnivan (who was a late withdrawal) had played. Melbourne got us in a low-scoring game because we had no avenue to goal and no-one to make the most of the inside-50 opportunities that arose. If we have Ginnivan, Hill and McCreery up there along with Elliott and an in-form Mihocek, watch out.

Yes, that's right.

Melbourne's major absentee on King's Birthday was Oliver.

This is my line up at this stage:

FB: Quaynor Moore Howe
CB: Maynard Murphy Crisp
C: J Daicos Pendles Marcov
CF: Hill Checkers McCreery
FF: Ginny Cameron Elliott
R: Cox JDG Mitchell
Int: McStay Side WHE Adams
Sub huge call I know but would love it just in the nick of time Nick Daicos
Other sub options are kruger lipinski Frampton Begg McRae noble
Like somehow get kruger a game and play as half forward line
Marcov just gets the nod in front of WHE for the other wing at this stage
As it’s a huge call nick daicos as sub I think he will just get up and only just be it as sub

No De Goey, Elliott, Ginnivan, Sidebottom, McStay and Howe the last time we played Melbourne.

We did have Naicos.
