geezzzz that forward line looks dangerous, if we all get on song. but we need the ball to hit the targets. the backline also looks dangerous. centre line is the only 1's questionable.

how many players you reckon we want on bench? we dont want to many.

Oh the centre line is a shocker Laughing

As for the bench, its alright atm, numbers always vary, usually on the lesser side

last time when we played against saints about 10 people went to the forward line.

Hi Guys

Looks like Im playing coach on the day. Would like to get an idea of how serious people are about winning. Obvisouly everyone gets a go, but positional moves etc how do they usually work? I never been toone fo these before so am unsure.

Also, i assume there is an interchange, so interms of ensuring evryone gets a go, whenever i have coached previosuly i have always had the mindeset that ppl shud sprint for as long as they can and as soon as they stop we rotate off the bench. ala swanie.

Are ppl happy with that arranagement? Or is this waaayyyy too much thinking?

I reckon we utilise our interchange policy that has been implemented in the last 2 or 3 encounters.

That policy being....after quarter time everyone is on. Outnumber the opponent.

also guys, I'll see how we are going with numbers.

If we are struggling I'll hang around for the 2nd game. I'll bring all my books so I can study during the breaks.

But if we have numbers...better they get the run.

I'm pumped. Really want to show something this sunday.

lol.

In all seriousness, I think 42's idea is pretty solid. And of course we're serious about winning! The pride of our club is on the line! Sorta! Razz

You're playing now though, Nath? How's that going to work? Neutral

Considering it's only 2 X 20 minute halves and it's supposed to be 31 degrees, I reckon keep rotating. The backline will need to be reviewed in the first minute or 2 depending on matchups, then rotate forwards and midfiielders to keep them fresh and the opposition guessing.

Constantly dragging players and sending on new ones will also help maintain some level of positional play as the last times it was like under 10;s with 30+ players chasing the ball around the ground.

yea just rotate players.

but how will players know when to come off and all that?

the funny thing is that we have 23 pages and the other forums have no more then 6-7 pages. Laughing Razz

also i reckon we have enough players now as to many people will be on the ground at the 1 time

Just copy the real collingwood style

Keep rotating really quickly, so no one not even us know our positions or our opponents

Seems to work well enough lol

Our half back line will dominant

I was going to go the black face-black wig to emulate the great Harry O, but Red Faces put a stop to that!

Ppl need to be honest about when they run out of legs and not be selfish.

Literally, once u stop to draw breathe, just come off, and someone will jump up. Otherwise i guess soemone will need to act as runner or we can just yell.
