nah licca will make up for it with tackles. I think he, bartel, hazleby are nice and cheap and id have them in my team over some of the higher priced players.

Ive never seen this scoring system. Im a bit of a gun at the dream team comp but am very hesitant about this one. The key is going to be finding players less than 100g who will play week in week out i think.

The ruck division is tough. With dream team, points are awarded for hitouts. As far as i can work out, players are not given points for hitouts. Therefore ruckman are pretty obsolete in this game.

Got to find players who can kick goals as well.

The stats are coming from Champion Data* and have apparently been rigorously tested against real outcomes over a number of years. It's going to be really interesting to see how some players perform in this comp. In the AFL Dreamteam comp, there have been highly valued players I wouldn't have given two bob for, but their stats have been impressive, so you have to play the game.

The fine print says some 50 individual stats are used in compiling Champion data's ratings. Maybe the hitouts are accidentally missing from the list posted? It would be good to know for sure.

* Champion Data is run by Ted Hopkins. A mathematical genius, apparently. It's a shame he didn't just stay in academia.

Just depends on who gets the ball and clears it from stoppages, really.

Some guys reckon hitouts are over-rated. But ruckmen still seem to do well in champion data (last year I seem to recall Everitt got some massive figures, even when the Hawks lost).
