Not looking good, but it's not over yet. Been pretty much goal for goal since half time.

90 seconds left, Crows trail by 8 points. It's all over, pretty much.

McGregor misses a goal with 29 seconds to go. 7 points the difference.
Commentary shamefully biased (well its 5AA after all). Laughing

I'd say all we need to do is win, we are playing them soon enough if we belt them then we won't need to worry much about percentage.

Geelong is still more than 400 points in credit in their for/against column, though..... we're less than 100.

I don't know if we'll be able to overtake their percentage, but it's not the end of the world. If we can keep 4 points ahead of them, it will be irrelevant.

However, our percentage is a worry. It cost us a top 4 spot last year, and this year it is already a decent amount below our main contenders (West Coast, Hawthorn, Geelong and Sydney). We're about on par with the Crows and Bombers, and ahead of the rest of the pack. So, percentage boosters will be very useful indeed as the season goes on, if we're hoping for a top 4 or top 2 spot.

I hope the Cats are on top at years end.

Puts more pressure on them and with our style of football they will implode.

Also allows us to go about our business without too much hype.

One good thing about the Cats finishing near the top of the table ---

less chance of us travelling in the first week of the finals!

Don't get too far ahead of yourselves fellas. We still have to win tomorrow!

Reminds me of last year's final where everyone was more worried about what is going to happen traveling over west to play Wet Toast in a semi final rather than worrying about the game against Footscray.

Fat lot of good that did... Razz

I'm truly worried about tomorrow's game I reckon Melbourne will certainly come out swinging.

if you were ever in any doubt about how crap the Saints are this year, the ladder should prove it...

13. Carlton 16 pts
14. St. Kilda 16 pts

and Freo look likely to join them... in the most embarrassing way possible - a loss to Richmond in WA. Although I just checked the scores again and the shockers are back within a couple of goals in the third quarter.

But I agree panga, the match tomorrow is a danger game and the team is going to have to treat the opposition with plenty of respect if we're going to win.
