Thanks for the link. Always a good read.

The only thing I would disagree with is about the crowd. It seems like Collingwood supporters aren't as keen to go to Etihad as they are to the MCG.

I predict 34K at the most.

3.20 on a sunday at etihad. we'll be lucky to crack 30k. is this our home game or the welfare's?

I would love to see the Pies cruise to a big win with the forward line fully functional and players not having to give 110% just to get the win. The good sides usually do that to the lesser sides. Unfortunately though for the Pies, often these games turn out to be a dour struggle with players having to compete nearly as much as they would against a good side. That results in fatigue and injuries which carry over to games against the good sides. I hope I'm wrong but no wins seem to be easy these days for the Pies.

yep, exactly. That's why we struggle with - dare I say it - percentage.
struggling teams bring out all the stops against us, which means more injuries, more fatigue, and even to the point of playing a game like Roos did on Monday which was a pretty desperate attempt to win at any cost.

Stiffed by the draw over the next 2 weeks. Duel 6 day breaks and both opponents coming off an 8 day break. Luckily its only the Bulldogs this week and we will still be relatively fresh for the Dawks next week.

ta. lazy of me not to check.

it should be quite brutal early on. like everyone, i am interested to see where their goals will come from given they'll be up against the 3rd best defence.

Still no Broomhead it seems, though we have had late changes for both of the last two weeks.

Great to see Kennedy as an emergency, hasn't been in the mix for a little while. He's one we need to seem something from soon.

He's still a chance, this is only a squad. 3 emergencies will be named at 5pm tomorrow night.

Broomy is on the extended bench, time will tell.
