There's nothing said about this on the afl website.

It was on ch7 recently. Will watch this space closely. Pendles said he wasn't sure if he wanted to bring his family to the hub as they faced 14 days in quarantine in a hotel room.

Story is a few days old now - haven't heard much more since.

Nic Nat versus Grundy will be great to watch

Better still put Mayne on him straight away before he starts causing trouble. Prevention is better than cure.

Westcoast have only beaten Sydney, Adelaide and Freo.
Hard to know how good they are. That being said, it will be a hard game, especially over in Perth.

I watched the derby yesterday and considering Freo were rudderless, I thought the Eagles were fairly average. They didn’t have a lot of run in their legs and their down the line possession game plan is so predictable, I feel like they are more beatable now than last season.
Shuey didn’t play and he’s expected to come back this week, so that makes them better. Doesn’t help that DeGoey misses either but we are well drilled and rely on system more than individuals.
Toss of the coin I reckon.

I watched an interview with Pendles and I took it that he couldn’t guarantee he would stay in the hub AFTER the initial 30 odd day allocated period.
If Vic clubs are required to stay away longer than the initial month of hub life, I think you will find there will be a number of players who choose to come back home. The AFL keep shifting the goal posts and it’s never in favour of the players. At some point, something has to give.

Apparently their base for the qld hub is at the very luxurious Sanctuary Lakes in the back waters of the gold coast same type of resort to where they are in currently.

He isn't good enough

And you're basing this on what exactly? The 10 games he played as a 19 year old in 2018?

He was a rookie draft selection, so is unlikely to make it as a senior player but it's a bit early to write him off. There are plenty of examples of rookies who didn't find a regular spot in the seniors until their 20s who went on to have great careers.
Nick Maxwell for one.

Very good points. He has a future and I thought might be an interesting idea against Wet Toast as a strong bodied forward player who applies pressure. The club wouldn't have kept him on if they thought he's a liability. His pre-eason and scratch match form looks pretty good.
