A couple of more questions Ed.

Firstly, is it possible to charter an Emirates plane to allow more of the Magpie faithful to attend interstate games. This would also allow more people to experience the Emirates service and if someone was wanting to travel overseas, this could only be good for our sponsor.

Second question. Will the lifts at Olympic Park be as useless as the one at Mchale stadium is now? There is nothing like being stuck in that lift when it would break down on a regular basis.

G'day Ed m8, You may have noticed that there is a large Collingwood online community, what if any plans do you have for us, and in what ways can we help to enhance Collingwood's rightful place as the Number 1 sporting club in Australia?

GOOD OLD COLLINGWOOD FOREVER!!

Just thought I'd bump this up - there have been a few queries over the OP issue.

Firstly Ed , thnx for all the great work you have done as our President and it will be a sad day when you decide to call it quits.

Now for a few Questions:

Will we actually be playing "Home" games at OP , so that we have a real home ground advantage not '18' neutral games at the TD and MCG.

Does the club have a suitable replacement for you when the time comes?

How much longer do you see yourself as president is it still just for this year?

and finally will you still have some involvement with the club when you hand over the reigns?

Thankyou

It would be nice if Ed, or someone else from the club, updated us on the current position, as there seems to be a lot of confusion as to exactly where our training ground is actually going to be located. Even if it's still under negotiations, it would be nice to be notified of that fact.

REMINDER!!

This is an old thread. It is 3 years old. Probably a good idea to keep that in mind when posting in it. Also, ed hasn't posted on here in a while, you prob won't get a response from him. You may get one from someone else at the Pies.

Collingwood will be training on the ground they are currently "doing up" at Goschs paddock. Right on the corner of Punt Rd and the Freeway exit...

I thought that was simply going to be our temporary training oval, until a new permanent ground is constructed at the old Olympic Park site alongside the Lexus Centre. I know this is what the club was hoping for, but I have yet to read or hear any confirmation of this from the club.
